Frequently Asked Questions

Creating a personalized 3D crystal should feel simple and exciting. Find answers about photo quality, customization, sizing, pricing, delivery, previews, and ordering below.

What happens if my photo is low resolution?

Upload the clearest and highest-quality version available. Low-resolution, blurry, dark, or heavily compressed images may contain less detail for engraving.

ALT 3D Crystals reviews uploaded images for compatibility, and its designers prepare the photo and correct available imperfections before production. For advice about a specific image, contact the team before ordering.

Can I preview my crystal before ordering?

Yes. Product pages include a “Try Now” personalization tool that lets you upload your photo and preview it inside the selected crystal.

The image editor also allows you to crop, zoom, rotate, or replace the uploaded photo before completing the customization.

Why does keeping the background cost extra?

Keeping the background is treated as a separate paid customization because the complete scene is retained instead of using the standard background-removal treatment.

The current additional charge displayed by the product customizer is $50

Do I need a light base?

No. The product customizer includes an “I Don’t Need a Base” option.

A light base is optional, but it illuminates the crystal and helps make the engraved details more visible. Suggested bases are displayed according to the selected crystal and size.

Is shipping free?

ALT 3D Crystals’ dedicated Shipping Policy states that shipping is free for orders delivered within the United States, with no minimum order value required.

International deliveries are not included in the free-shipping offer.

What happens if I am unhappy with the result?

ALT 3D Crystals states that it stands behind its products and offers a satisfaction guarantee. However, engraved products are custom-made and are therefore not normally returnable or refundable.

Defects in materials or workmanship will be corrected without charge. Contact the company with your order details and clear photographs if there is a confirmed defect, production issue, or damaged item.
